Word recall

English on screen. You type the Japanese. No hints, no tapping the right card. This is the core of what makes Zenshin different from recognition-heavy apps.

  • Forces retrieval, not "oh yeah, I've seen that"
  • Wrong answers show the correct form immediately
  • Struggling words appear more often until they stick

Getting words wrong is normal, especially early on. Each miss is a pointer, not a score to hide from.

Verb conjugation

You see a sentence with a verb to change. You type the conjugated form. Dictionary form on a flashcard is step one; production under a prompt is step two.

Pick your forms

Past, te-form, potential, passive, causative, and more. Choose before you start.

Type, don't tap

No multiple choice. You have to produce the form yourself.
