Mistakes are useful here

If everything feels easy, you're probably not retrieving enough. Wrong answers aren't failures. They tell you exactly what to drill next.

  • They show real gaps

You thought you knew ้ฃŸในใ‚‹. You didn't, not under pressure. Now you do.

  • Feedback sticks better after a miss

Seeing the right answer right after you got it wrong beats passive re-reading.

  • They keep you honest

    Familiarity lies. Production doesn't.

Zenshin uses your errors to weight what shows up next. More misses on a word means more chances to retrieve it.

Study order that works

You can jump around, but this sequence matches how the content unlocks and how memory builds:

1

Flashcards first

Introduce vocab and grammar patterns. Spaced review puts them in your head before you ask your head to output them.
2

Word recall & verb conjugation

Pull Japanese from memory and drill forms you'll need when speaking or writing. This is where recall gets real.
3

Write sentences

English prompt, Japanese answer, target grammar pattern. Feedback checks whether you used the pattern, not whether you filled a blank.
4

All-in-one (optional)

Mix flashcards, recall, conjugation, and sentences in one session when you want variety without picking modes yourself.
